Welcome to the Miss Diamond National USA Scholarship Pageant!
My pageant journey began at the age of 17 when my mother encouraged me to enter my very first pageant. With no prior experience, I agreed, believing it would be a one-time adventure. When I stepped onto the Miss Arkansas USA stage in 2007, my goal was simply to make the Top 15. So when my name was called for the Top 5, I was both shocked and thrilled. In that moment, I discovered a passion that would forever change my life.
Pageantry has taught me that you are enough just as you are. It has helped me develop invaluable public speaking and interpersonal communication skills, and it has given me the confidence to pursue my dreams and start my own business.
Your journey with Miss Diamond National USA will be fulfilling, exciting, and rewarding. Throughout this week, you will step outside your comfort zone and experience opportunities unlike any other. This is not simply a beauty pageant. It is a national scholarship and leadership program designed to empower girls and young women ages 5 to 26 to become confident leaders, role models, and future changemakers.
As you prepare for the exciting week ahead, please take time to read this handbook carefully and familiarize yourself with everything that awaits you. We are committed to helping you grow, succeed, and shine both on and off the stage.
